She was born on the 8th of July, 1988 in Kırıkkale, Turkey. She started living in İzmir as she turned
two.
After she graduated from Karşıyaka Anatolian High School in 2006, she went to İstanbul to
study Industrial Engineering at Sabancı University. As she studied her major, she also began fullfiling
her lifelong calling; theater. She was an active member in the drama club, both as an actress and a
director, as well as acting as the head of the club until her graduation in 2011.
She joined
Şahika Tekand Studio Players in 2011 and studied acting for two years. At the same time, she started
studying for her Master's degree at Haliç University Theatre Department and graduated in 2014 as she
wrote her thesis.
In 2021, she completed the Proficiency in Art (doctoral) program in Cinema and
Television at Maltepe University with a thesis and a documentary film exploring the relationship between
actor and director.
She worked both in front of the camera and on live stage as an actress. She also teached
creative drama in İstanbul Drama Art Academy and Ragıp Savaş Art Academy.
In 2019, she
co-founded Bi’Tık Tiyatro with Duygu Serin and Melda Narin Güler. She wrote, directed, and performed in
the company’s debut play, 45 Saniye, which is still being staged. With this play, she won the Best
Playwright award at the 9th Ekin Yazın Dostları Theatre Awards.
She knows advanced level english
and is a
beginner in french and sign language.
